Hello. We are Rita and Ben Henderson, the proprietors of Bunrannoch House Hotel, a beautiful listed Victorian hunting lodge, situated in a stunning glen in the heart of Highland Scotland. We are open all year round and aim to provide the highest standards of hospitality to all guests and visitors.

Bunrannoch has eight guest bedrooms, a fully licensed restaurant serving outstanding local produce and a new bistro/bar, serving lunches, afternoon teas and drinks. The restaurant and the hotel’s drawing room have been totally refurbished during Winter 2009, as part of the first phase of a major upgrading of the house and its facilities.

The area around Bunrannoch is a region of outstanding unspoilt natural beauty, containing a wealth of wildlife and spectacular scenery. Schiehallion, the “fairy hill of the Caledonians”, rises for 3,554 feet behind the house and Loch Rannoch stretches for more than 9 miles along the glen. Sitting in the dining room or the drawing room of Bunrannoch, you will regularly see deer, red squirrels and numerous birds outside the house.

Bunrannoch is ideally located for a wide range of local activities, as well as for exploring the wider Highland area. Local activities available include walking, fishing, cycling, sailing, stalking and shooting, whilst attractions that can be visited as day trips include Pitlochry (with its famous theatre and Salmon ladder), Blair Atholl, a number of whisky distilleries, Scone Palace and even Glasgow and Edinburgh are within a two hour drive.

Whatever your reasons for visiting the area, we hope that you will feel at home at Bunrannoch House. We try to meet every guest’s individual needs and requirements, to help you to relax and unwind. We are happy for guests to bring well behaved dogs into the house (we have four dogs, a neurotic cat and two sheep ourselves) and are also happy to try and help with any specific requests that you may have.

Please contact Ben and Rita on 01882 632407, or at enquiries@bunrannoch.co.uk, if you have any queries regarding rates, or wish to make a reservation.
