Please note that most satellite navigation and internet direction systems place Bunrannoch House a few hundred yards closer to Loch Rannoch than we actually are.
The quickest route to Bunrannoch House is generally via the A9. Heading from the South, carry on past Pitlochry for approximately 9 miles and turn left onto the B847 Calvine Road (signs for Calvine and Struan). After approximately 10 miles, turn right onto the B846. When you reach the main square of Kinloch Rannoch, turn left over the bridge, head past the Country Store and out of the village. Take the first right after approximately half a mile and Bunrannoch House is 50 yards away on the left hand side.
Alternatively, if travelling from the South, you may wish to take the Perthshire Tourist Route, which follows the line taken by General Wade's 18th century military road. This route is signposted from the A9, shortly after passing Stirling and Dunblane, and goes via Crieff and Aberfeldy. Arriving in Aberfeldy on the A826, continue through the crossroads onto the B846. This road heads into Kinloch Rannoch via TummelBridge (follow directions above from Kinloch Rannoch). Unless the weather is poor you may wish to turn left off the B846 onto the Schiehallion Road. Following this road, once you have descended into the glen, Bunrannoch House is the next left turn after Innerhadden Farm (If you enter the village of Kinloch Rannoch, you have gone half a mile too far – see directions above)
